At STL Flight Training, we believe in making aviation accessible and predictable. Whether you're just getting started or pursuing advanced certifications, our pricing estimates give you a clear understanding of what to expect. Below you'll find breakdowns for each training program so you can plan your journey with confidence.
Private Pilot - $11-$15,000
Build a strong foundation in aircraft control, navigation, and safety while earning the certificate that allows you to fly for personal and recreational purposes.
Instrument Rating - $7,000
Develop the skills and confidence to fly safely in the clouds using instruments, procedures, and advanced decision-making.
Commercial Pilot - $7,000
Advance your precision, professionalism, and flight skills to meet the requirements for flying as a paid pilot.
CFI - $6,000
(not including time building)
Learn to teach, demonstrate, and evaluate flight maneuvers while preparing for a career instructing the next generation of pilots.
CFII - $2,000
Expand your instructor qualifications to teach instrument students and enhance your value as a professional flight instructor.

We believe that paying for flight school should be as flexible as your schedule. That’s why we offer multiple payment options to fit your needs:
-Pay-as-you-go: Pay after each flight or lesson, with no upfront commitment.
-Prepay and save: Make prepayments of $1,000 or more and receive a 5% discount — a great way to save as you train!
Note: Discounts are only available on prepayments made via bank transfer.

Evektor 10 Hr Block Rate
$1850
MPORTANT To purchase Evektor block time at $185/hr you MUST click BANK TRANSFER and have at least $1850.00 in prepaid funds in your account. Credit and Debit Card payments will not receive the discounted rate of $185/hr.
